Yeah figured that was a wash, as you said we upgrade, they save. I like Foligno more than most, thought he was more than a 4th line player and could do well if he ever saw a playoff game.

At the same point, I'm still surprised there wasn't another team that would have offered a bit more for Scandella. Yeah the cap situation limits options, but it isn't as though there weren't at least a half dozen other teams with the room to finagle and in need of a top4 D.
