yep, no way Chucky plays center. CJ and MB were pretty clear on that.
don't know why it's so complicated to understand |

He will likely start out there again during pre-season games to see if he can gel with a line. His defensive play and face-offs need work but he is much more productive and offensively involved at center. I wouldn't be surprised to see him with Pacioretty and Drouin to start the year but I dont know how much of a leash CJ gives him in comparison to MT. |

well he did score 20 in the past, so if he can reiterate...
26 is also be a nice age to become better.
Not talking about challenging for the team scoring lead... but 45 pts would be nice |

Were they? - Pat1993
MB "Honestly Alex had a season that didn't hit his or our expectations, the NHL is the best league in the world, and it will expose if you don't pay attention, like a goalie, at center the good teams will expose you, it happened to Alex" Bergevin said on Monday "Claude made a decision to put him on the wing for that reason, we met with him this morning and he understands what he has to do to be that #1 center in the future, but for now the best place for him is the wing and certainly it has an impact on our plans that he doesn't play center"
CJ "Chucky realizes the same thing we realize, at center it's one of the toughest jobs you have to be all over the ice and be good at both ends and be reasponsible, right now hes not there and he needs to work to get there" Julien said "We have to put him in a position to help him, keeping him at #1 center would hurt him and would hurt us as a team, he needs to learn how to be better without the puck which he can learn on the wing, but well play it by ear, he can help us make that decision by his play" |

If they go with that line, which is my hope as well, I would say as long as they produce more than they cost, he'll stay there. I wonder if Drouin will get/want opportunity at Center... |

The only argument against that line is to spread the offensive talent across 2 lines. Lehkonen, Gallagher, Byron and Plek don't inspire too much confidence to make up the bulk of secondary scoring without some star power beside them. |

I personally think Lehkonen-Danault-Gallagher would be a capable second line, but I appear to be a bit higher on Danault than most. |
