I think that is part of it. The lower leagues and fringe major leaguers...what is the downside? If you dont do it, you cant perform enough to stay to play in the big leagues, and if you get caught? well you were gone anyway

Yeah I remember that, like it was yesterday. My mom of all people woke me up to tell me that. I thought it was a dream. I woke up and asked my mom if that was real or not....That was quite upsetting.

Plenty of studies show that Steroids, if taken properly, are no worse for the male body than the pill is for women.

Examples from the 70's like the entire Steelers and Raiders football teams is not what should be expected from most baseball players use.

Nah, it's not close. EVH is the much better technical player. Very few guys are on his level. A few that are/were would be:

Funny, I seem to remember a report several years back showing that hundreds of current and former MLB stars were using steroids. I guess they just did it for kicks, instead of trying to achieve top status.
