I'm actually with you on this. Nylander doesn't get enough credit for anything but his shot. The kid is fast, can pass, is shifty, does pretty well along the boards, his passing is grade A....he's a legit player.

Marner's no slouch. I waffle between the two. But right now Nylander by a female genitalia hair.

(I do think Marner is going to impress next season. More confidence, more hair on his balls and not getting sick will really help him out.)

I like them both, it is really way too early to call one better than the other, attitude, conditioning, injuries will all have an impact on their careers. For me right now, Nylander is the best pure skater on the team. With that rocket of a shot and slick moves - just a great talent. Marner has something that I'm not sure Nylander has though. He's got this extra vision sense, not as pronounced as it is with Matthews, but its there. Can set the table really well. Like them both, as to who's better or who will have the better career. I really don't give a sh!t. Happy to have them both.

Chabot will have same impact as werenski

Matthews is quite a bit better then both Marner and Nylander but right now id take Nylander of Marner but that can change quickly and it doesnt even matter anyway

I'm probably alone, but I'm happy with the group we have going into next year.

Lots of competition on the wing and D that'll sort itself out with trade deadline deals, injuries, or minors for some of the waiver exempt guys.

Plus I'm pretty excited to see what Calle Rosen can do. Take it for what it's worth, but Ville Leino said he was the best skater he's ever played with, which includes Lidstrom, Giroux, Briere, etc.

Also, I think Carrick has more to give/prove; could surprise us as that #4 RHD we've been pining for. Beats the hell out of giving up Marner for one.

Faulk would be absolutely perfect. Marner is untouchable to me though.
I would start an offer with Bracco, Timoshov and a first. Two skilled forwards and a first to Carolina, a young D heavy team.
I'd even throw more into that but that's where it would need to start. FAulks 25 right handed and on a great contract.
They have so many young guys ready to step up even more so I think we could have a chance

Yeah. This is obviously more Laffs media bias. Always putting down the Sens awesome awesomesauce. Dion is great now and was never being shopped/exposed to expansion. Methot sucks. They totally didn't need Oduya, but now that he's signed, he's also awesomesauce.

P.S. The spartan shtick was also awesome and not at all dumb and also is totally relevant for the Senators since a Spartan hoplite is totally a Roman legionary.
