Zib might have insisted on a two-year deal, while Rangers only want one if a LT accord can't be reached. Plus, his shifting of agents from Newport Sports to his half-brother end not viewed positively initially, as it sparked concerns that he and Newport Sports were not seeing eye to eye on his value. As Zib has now gone to arbitration, that view gains more credence.

Wow. didnt hear about that. that doesnt sound good. i always find it weird when players either represent themselves or have a relative as their agent. why not use the industry that does contract negotiations for a living? you might be right - maybe he values himself higher than what his agent was saying he should expect.
