So...I didn't watch it, but Michael Phelps did not actually swim against a great white shark.

He swam in the ocean (with a wet suit and a fin that enabled him to swim faster), and then people at Discovery Channel used a bunch of data (possibly fancy) to simulate how fast a shark could swim, and then used CGI to have it race next to Phelps.

This is total horsepoop.

I do. Shark Week was great back in the day because it was all science driven shows. They used to have a lot of great space shows, too. Now it's just crap.
