Brian Boyle trade was far from a F. With a touch of luck we get to the 2nd round or further....and he played a pretty good part of it. Sucks he didnt resign...that's the chances you take.

Boyle didn't score a goal, was okay at faceoffs, didn't help us get to the 2nd round, was a shadow of his Tampa self and went off as a UFA. Boyle was a rental for a 2nd round pick that helped Tampa more than Leafs so I view his time here as a failed attempt. It is also July and not a lot to debate that will amount to much. Thanks for reading my earlier rant. MiB's work is not that interesting anymore.

I think Gauthier at some point soon (maybe already) can provide the same or more than Boyle did. Probably will be 1 year of Moore then Gauthier in that slot.

I assume he will start with the Marlies to ensure the leg works then if either Kadri or Moore get injured he will come up. I think Sosh or Leivo will be #1 for winger fill ins.

i liked boyle in the 4th line role, but moore @ $1M > Boyle @ $2.7M for a 4C imo.

Moore like Boyle can fit in other spots higher up the roster. Boyle priced himself out of Toronto plus 2 years was one year too long.

Perhaps he will have his head down trying to locate the puck when someone will finish their check. He is not liked by several teams.
