55 points or better is heading towards first line center production. Couturier is a horse to play against and is very tough on the puck physically.
- MJL

That is why he can make the team stronger by being the best 3C center in the league and kill penalties. Giroux, Voracek, Simmonds, Konecny, Weal and hopefully Patrick can be the top six. Filppula has more offence ability than Couter as well. If Patrick is not ready then you have to decide between Couter of Filppula for 2c and 3C. I do not like either choice but one of them will get it.

You can't just come in here and post viable facts. Doesn't work like that buddy.

That may very well be how it shakes out in the future if Patrick develops as hoped barring any kind of trade but for now, Couturier is the team's 2nd line center and one of the better 2nd line centers at ES in the league.

It is obvious you never played the game!
- joegreif17

so obvious

you must be forged from Manhattan bedrock. Rinaldo left his feet and put his shoulder in his jaw, got hit low and had his knee get bend in a way that it shouldn't and took a the full force of a 6'2", 230lb Ovi moving with speed into a wall. Im sure would walk away unscathed from each incident

Nahhh you have diarrhea then.

I would like to know how one can get their hands on theatre butter. I'm sure it's full of poop but it's quite good.

More to this story, I got flagged for 10 days because I said I thought Hakstol was an idiot. Just sayin
Just want to say that HB is for opinions and if you do not like it you do not resort to name calling of any sort. I have learned to play by the rules and so should you.

I do play by the rules. I haven't called anyone any names. And if you were banned for saying Hakstol is an idiot, I'm sure there's more to it than that. Much worse things have been said about plenty in this forum that haven't resulted in a ban.

The object of the game is to hit and not be hit. Obviously he can not take it and not quick or smart enough to avoid it. 80 games missed in six years is not good for the team. You have to know who is on the ice at all times, sure many hits are unavoidable but head down and you will pay.

Who is going to replace Schenn's 17 pp goals?? One thing for sure I will be watching Schenn light it up in St. Louis, I hated to see him go.

How many of his injuries were the direct result of taking a hit?

Honest, I did. I even asked Bill M if he thought it was a fair banning and he said he would talk to the mods, however they did not reverse it. I showed the offending blog to my friends and they all said it was ridiculous and they would not participate in a site than bans for a negative opinion. I do not resort to name calling anymore and try to be decent to all no matter what poop is stated. Just saying

You tell me, all I know he is sidelined all the time and not matter how he got injured he is still missing in action.

Sorry, I did not mean you. I was talking about the guy that called me an idiot. No big deal but I can show you what I got banned for and you will be shaking your head. Calling a person an idiot is minor and what I said was far less offensive than calling someone an idiot.

I don't know either but I'm not the one saying he can't take a hit. The number of times he is out injured is a concern but perhaps that is because he plays a hard game.

Damn.

He's such an interesting player. Really a testiment to how improtant possession metrics are and how important having the puck is. That is, the guy is not flashy, fast, overly skilled, fast as lightening.... he's honestly average across the board in offensive skills. Goes to show what kind of hockey sense he has.

I said before he'd never be "the guy" and I said that having his lack of flashiness in mind. But Christ, the dude gets it done and I've always seen him as a 2C, again, one that every team wants and a cup champ needs. If the 2pp can get on track he could have a monster year- then maybe I'm rethinking if he could be "the guy".

The fact that someone legitimately said "no one wants Giroux in my fantasy league so his value is zero in the NHL" is heartbreaking.
