The stroke is a little long for me.

I know eh! It sucks someone have to go! To many and imo leivo is going to be a really good player! Better hands than shosh,shosh better defense? and plays harder than brown shosh and kappy! Imho it's a nice spot to be in but frustrating at the same time! Training camp will determine alot I imagine, and the above mentioned players better bring their A game! And I truly believe that Marleau will play with matthews,he does what hyman does just so much better and scores!

And, I don't agree with you about Leivo. I think that kid will work his ass off to stay in the line up....something JVR doesn't do. Plus, that kind of work will offset the talent differential between JVR and Leivo. The kid is good....maybe not quite as good as JVR...but we have no idea how good yet. If Babcock tells him to back check....you better believe he will!!!

I don't see the point of keeping Leivo tbh. I think he's vastly overrated by many. I'd imagine he get a traded at some point in a package. Babcock doesn't seem to like him much.
