The first few years of cable and HBO were unbelievably cool. I watched the Exorcist with my dad when I was maybe 9 and we had never seen anything on the tube that was edgier than Archie Bunker up to that point...I love All in the Fam but seeing Linda Blair in that movie changed my life.

Absolutely. Still like listening to Gretzky talk about Howe as a mentor to him. We have two young wideouts in Sammy and Zay...why not add a potential mentor? They aren't anywhere near a contender yet, but at least there are some good decisions coming out of 1 Bills Dr. Liked the trade back in the draft and think Hyde was a sneaky signing. We'll see.

With Nino, Parise, Granlund, Zucker, Koivu, Staal, Coyle and Ek on the team...I just don't see a top 6 spot. I can see him getting 20 if he was top6, had PP minutes and could stay healthy. Unfortunately, given his teammates, the physicality of the western conference and his lack of production for 2 years...I don't see how even a healthy Enzo gets 20gs or 40+pts.

Foligno was the worse loss for me by a long shot, we'll put it that way. I hope I'm wrong about Ennis, he's one of the guys I met and he's got an infectious personality. Very kind and engaging for his age.

I definitely agree. As for the Ennis part, I think the guy has unbelievable hockey instincts that you just can't teach and yeah, maybe my 20g25a is more bullish than most. Maybe he won't get another top 6 shot, but if he's gonna make it longer than the duration of his contract, I believe that's where he needs to be. After watching him disappear down the depth chart this year, I don't think he can be an effective player in the bottom six. Maybe Minny has enough talent to make an offensive top 9, with a 4th line checking line.
