On subject...I didn't mind McIllhi.. last year.
He could be solid if our D didn't suck. Fix the D and our goalie tandem will be legit.
(I ass-puckered a lot less watching games last season after January than many other years with Enroth, Reims, Sparks, the Monster, Bernier.....) |

It's as Mike mentioned, the Leafs are like most teams, if the starter blows his knee out or something, it's a problem. If McBackup plays twenty games and is average, they can withstand that. But I thought Freddy was really, really good last year and don't see why he can't be better. First time in a long time last season where a goalie stole some points for the team.
I'm more worried about the other teams' goalies, getting burned necks from all the red light Matthews and Co. are gonna be burning them with. They'll be like burgers under a (frank)in' heat lamp, sweating cheese. Freddy is gonna get bored, that's the biggest risk. |
