You could add in that he probably should have traded Stamkos rather than sign him to that contract, which isn't going to age well. Also, giving Tyler Johnson seven years is also pretty dumb.
What are his good moves? He didn't even acquire two of his three best players. Also I still don't like the way he handed the whole Drouin thing.

Stamkos at $8.5M is a bargain...once glance around the league shows this
Yes 7 years is long for a small C, but the bottom line is his underlying stats show he's an above average 2C and $5M per for a 2C is not outrageous at all. He's only 26 so the deal only takes him to 33
Who are the Bolts 3 best players he didn't acquire? Stamkos and Hedman yes...who is your 3rd?
Hint The answer is Kucherov who Yzerman did draft...late in the 2nd round
Where are the rest of the good moves or did you conveniently leave them out?
Palat-7th round pick
TJ-UDFA
Vasilevskiy-1st rounder acquired as 3-way trade (Downie/Quincey/1st rd pick)
Brayden Point-3rd round pick
Stralman UFA signing
These are just a few in a line that sees Yzerman at the helm building what was a bottom 5 if not worst in the league farm system into a young cup contender with a top 10 prospect pool waiting in the wings.
Re Drouin...how else was he supposed to handle the situation that was better for the Bolts? Is your argument that he could/would have done better than Sergachev had he traded Drouin during the holdout? Or is your argument that Yzerman was mean to poor Drouin?
