I'm not a fan of Maurice. To me an undisciplined team with horrible special teams reflects on the coach. Some fans still like him however....but they're idiots.

As for Chevy....this is a big year. The Thrashers were horrible when they got here. Some talent but brutal prospects. He's built through the draft and got Scheifele, Laine, Ehlers, Trouba, Morrisey etc, and hasn't traded for a quick fix. The one year they were competing he added some nice pieces down the stretch.

However this year there are a lot higher expectations...it's playoffs or bust. The pressure will be on him now. They opened the wallets this off-season and will be a cap team...so we'll see.

I'm not sure Holland would draft Dahlin. He's exactly what we need though. Tats will likely get 4.75 million. Carolina is improving. Francis is going a good job.

He had the best defensive numbers of any player on Buffalo, and Buffalo surrenders an F-LOAD of shots.

Buffalo needs some guys who actually play defense to counteract guys like Ristolainen who has the worse defensive numbers in the NHL.

Get used to it. Their 1st round pick in last draft shows that they aren't ready on knowing how to pick high. They have had some nice steals picking late. But that just was beucase others above them snookered themselves out of choosing well.
