All the players you highlighted? They are at best dime a dozen and at worst poopty NHLers. Most teams see a 20-30% turnover of the bumhole of its roster each year. Nothing Colorado has done moves the needle.

my point is that you claiming they havent done anything was inaccurate and I wouldnt say that Jost, Compher, Mirinov, and Lindholm are a dime a dozen turn over guys. They are their young and developed guys cracking the roster. So who knows how good they could be or not be

I know its not sexy upgrades put ill take Yakupov, Wilson, Neito, and Gehtto over Iggy, Rene Bourque, Jon Mitchell and Martinson a 100 times out of a 100

Lets see the Bowmans have cost us Tevo because of the Bickell contract

Traded Danault for NOTHING

Traded Daley for NOTHING

Gave Seabrook a HUGE contract that no team will touch

And keep giving NTC to all his big players so can't be moved

Could NOT pull the trigger on Hammer Hartman & a pick to COL for Duchy last year

On & on & on & on.........

Time to get them OUT

Surprised to see... or not see... any mention of the Caps current debacle, or James Tanner chipping in here to pretty much say so...

They're in a bad way at this time. I mean, it is still early in the off-season, but they have MANY unanswered questions, and not a whole lot of cap space to answer them with.

But then again, maybe the Caps aren't mentioned here because it's NOT a big surprise to anyone they are where they are...?

And yet you still have 3 cups and have been one of the best teams of the 2010s... I think the trade off has been more than worth it...

I would've taken a decade of misery for 1 cup. People are ridiculous.

Try being in cap purgatory and only getting to the second round ha. They need to keep things in perspective.

Thought you hate #50

also 81 was Scotty Bowman and his boy.

#2 Bob P.

#7 Bob P.

Do go on.

Byfuglien? Bob P.

Tallon made some good moves that helped the team win (short term)

Also spent like a drunken sailor. Kinda like Chiarelli.

Never said I liked 50 just saying who got him here.

You can place most of the success for the 1st cup on Tallon, I agree. But whether you agree with his moves or not, Bowman has done a great job knowing which players to keep and let go of which led directly to two more cups! The Hawks D is a bit thin right now and I still think they'll sign Franson, but at forward they are deeper then they have been the past two seasons. And they will probably have some cap space to play with at the deadline to do a deal once Hossa goes on LTIR.
