just one example but how many people had the leafs ahead of the sabres after last off season? - Sabresfan-365
I'll give u that...
but big freaking deal
Like u said,
That's ONLY ONE example
And he still had the Leafs missing
I also just have u a bunch that he was wrong on
Overall...
he was VERY similar to everyone else
U literally have only that one example to say his predictions are more accurate than others
By your logic...
I could say I'm more accurate at predicting than he is bc I said Chicago would still be very good & LA would barely make it or miss |

I didn't say I literally had one or that one was enough it was just the first that came to mind. I'd look up some others but it's 320 and I want to sleep. And I've also completely lost interest but mostly the sleep thing lol |

I actually think gsva and GAR are terrible stats for hockey compared to some of the others out there but it still gives a better read out and better prediction than some of the others. It doesn't do context though, that's why the little buffer with best and worst case point total exists. predictions are usually bad this ones just a little better. |

There is such a thing as being right for the wrong reason. Look at those placements, none of them are correct. Well, Deslauriers. |

Yeah, I'd lose interest if I was wrong too (haha)
So idk what makes u think his predictions are more accurate?
He was WAY off on his predictions for...
*and by "way off" I mean he was off at least 8pts from his prediction,
which was his +/- margin of error for each team
Tampa, Florida, Ottawa, Detroit, Toronto
Washington, philly, ny Rangers, Columbus, New Jersey
Dallas, Chicago, Minnesota, Colorado
Los Angeles, Anaheim, Edmonton, Arizona, Vancouver
So in his predictions,
where he gives himself a ridiculous SIXTEEN point margin...
He was still wrong on 19 teams!!!
So he was WAY off on almost 2/3 of his predictions,
Based on what the fancy stats told him the team will do
How can u possibly think his predictions are accurate?
Yeah...
he's GREAT at predictions, NOT |

Will Scandella or McCabe be on the first pairing? I'm guessing Scandella starts on the first pairing, but I could see McCabe starting with Risto because of his chemistry with him. Scandella also might be better on the second pairing with Bogo as a little bit of a safety net for him. |

I'd do Kane and a second to the wings for Tatar and give him the 7 year 42 million

that 3rd pair kind of scares me.. that could be dangerously bad on defense |

Bailey better learn how to score then.. he has the wells and defensive responsibility for that position but you need more scoring out of 2nd line winger |

I wouldn't. Just give Kane the $6mill a year.
They bring the same amount of scoring, basically, but Kane has stronger forecheck game, and he's a year younger. |

But Tatar can actually finish and not shoot it over the net or in the pads |

I wouldn't pay either.
We don't need another 6 mil winger.
Let one of the 5 or 6 guys we have in the system play with Jack and get 40-50 points.

Those guys are not ready ( nylander) and the others I don't think they're that special but third line players energy players that could possibly play on the second line if there's an injury |

STL has asked for a two-year deal on Parayko at $3.4M and $3.6M. He is asking for one year at $4.85. Still time for settlements. |

They will be ready.
In 2 years I think Okposo's deal will already look not so hot.
Kane and or Tatar will be in the same boat down the line
Unless we are going after a top 10 winger, we shouldn't be paying anyone else |

I see those 2 maybe full time in 2019
Bailey , Baptiste I just think they're going to be those typical plug in players that get 15 goals or so some years |
