I don't think he's that stupid...wouldn't be a bad player for the team though. Montreal don't have lots of top 2 centers and not a lot of good right shot players as well...don't know what they could give though...not Juulsen for sure.

He's probably hoping to be on their top 6...which would be better than playing 10 minutes a night on Frolunda's 4th line...

I don't really see the point. Danault is what, 24? Played in his first full NHL season last year. Let him be the second line center. Bozak is a more expensive version of Danault, I think.

I remember Lehkonen being there the first season after he was drafted, and reporters saying he would be dressed for games for one or two shifts and some nights not even stepping on the ice at all....it's ridiculous.

Yeah, at least they train and practice with the team...but it must be frustrating for kids who are used to being on their team's 1st line since they were little.

I don't really see the point. Danault is what, 24? Played in his first full NHL season last year. Let him be the second line center. Bozak is a more expensive version of Danault, I think.

Well, they'll have to get over it, because it's a better option than Tyler Bozak. But that's just me I guess. Plus, if I'm completely honest, I have more faith in Claude Julien making that work than Michel Therrien, so I'd give it a shot.
