I bet a lot of ahl guys could have scored 20 goals on a team where they are given pp time and given zero defensive responsibility ...granny is a fringe player on a good team

In a few years he will be somewhere else and you'll all rip him

- Redmile247

for the last decade we have had a bunch of fringe or utility players spread through the bottom 9 forwards. I'll take Granny over Higgy as long as he is scoring.

20 goals is a big deal on a team that struggles to score.

I'm not sure if he should be classified as a 2nd or 3rd line winger. but he did look okay with the twins while he was there and I think he was the defensive guy on that line.

Granlund was a pleasant surprise, he made the most of his opportunity. Anyone that can score 20 on a consistent basis shouldn't have any trouble finding a home in the NHL.

as per ripping him, well we are all canucks and we eat our own.

They have looked worn down at the end of the last two seasons.

I'm hoping Bo's line gets a little more ice time.

I wasn't very impressed when Brown was on the bench for us under AV. Yes, we had 1 successful PP unit... but it was a case of all eggs in one basket... Sedins and Kesler in their prime with Hoff on the blue line... he never showed us he could balance a pair of units even at a time when arguably we had more talent on our team than any point in history.

He's had a lot of time to learn and improve... it's still an improvement on whats his name...

Anything can be better then last season's PP, right?

Is Gagner the fixer? MDZ back to form?

Heard it here 1st...

VGK, Av's, NJD, Wings all finish below us.
Yotes will give us a good run but we underperform them for 27th.

If we are healthy we are not sh!!ty enough to finish in the bottom 5 now. I see a 24th spot finish. If we have 8-9 starters out of the lineup (which is usually the case with this club), then I foresee a 27-29 finish. There are more than a few teams worse off than we are currently.

I think we will finish above VGK/COL/WINGS

I think we will finish around the same spots as the devils/jets/yotes.
