He fuct Up with Seth Jones. That is by Stauffer, Willis and Poiles accounts of things not mine.
Subban-speculation and rumours. Not facts.
So yes he had other opportunities to get better dmen and fuct up. Period.
Nobody getting injured, Maroon shooting at almost 17% EV Strength, Lucic shooting 25% on the PP, Talbot having another franchise setting season. Throw in Sekera out for the beginning of the season and I don't see Edmonton finishing as high. - freelancer

The ask on Dougie Hamilton was not the same as what it was from Calgary. The price for the Oilers was higher. Plus Hamilton is not a better d-man.
The Preds preferred Johanssen to RNH.

Why was the ask higher for us? Because he burned bridges. That on him as well as Sweeney.
The Preds didn't prefer Ryjo. The word from Stauffer and other sources was that the OILERS turned down Nuge for Jones. Not the other way around. And Poile said after the Hall/Larsson trade that Hall was not available from the Oil when he made the Jones deal or it may have been different.
The Rumoured Subban price was ridiculous and agreed would have been dumb. But we all know what is Rumoured and what actually happens is far from the same deal. Which is why I agreed the Subban stuff was just rumours and speculation.
And yes Hamilton -the guy that finished top ten this year in Norris voting is better than Larsson.

How are those grasping at straws? Injuries is a big one. We had Maroon miss one game last season and that was it. Not saying we will have the same bad luck as past years but injuries will happen. Typically when you see guys with sh% that high above their average you usually see them drop off the following year. Last year McDavid, Draisaitl, Letestu, Maroon, Klefbom, and Talbot all had career years. It would be remarkable if none of them dropped in production.
