Was there a CFL game on?

Apparently someone lost money on it.

If a cfl game is played and no one watches it, does it make a noise?

There's a contingent who appreciate Gaunce.

He's one of the best defensive forwards on the team, with room to grow offensively.

His AHL pace in 15-16 would have put him in the top 10 in AHL scoring as a 2nd year pro.

There will be parades in Vancouver if Virtanen can come close to that in his 3rd pro season at the same age.

It's difficult to develop an offensive game in the NHL getting ~8min or less a game with mostly D-zone starts.

- Fosco

But yet many 4th liners in the NHL score more than 1 goal in 77 games playing 8min/game or less...

His only goal wasn't really a goal. It bounced off him.

I think that Gaunce's defensive responsibility can easily be replaced with someone just as good, but who scores more often than say, the elephant man.

There are other options now, we shouldnt settle for Gaunce, we can do better.

Virtanen eclipsed Gaunce's point totals by double in less games and he's three years younger....as for the defensive side of things, it might be a little early to parade bash Jake

So because an NHL player doesnt score much (or in this case at all), that makes him good defensively?

He was -2 on the season, of the 12 Canuck forwards to play over 40 games he was 11th in D Zone starts, and with the team ahead in score he had the 3rd worst Corsi rating. He also had less shots and takeaways than Boucher (who played less than half as many games) and ranked 10th among forwards in blocked shots behind Daniel Sedin

He was a treading water player last season. Mediocre on both ends of the rink

It keeps posters from other teams away from here. They read and are like who the (frank) is Gaunce? How can I disrupt this thread when they are arguing about a nobody?
