Those bonuses Nashville owners won't like! But it's not like they didn't know that they were there! But Nashville has another kid apparently ready?too make the jump to the big club! Can't remember his name? But I just wonder if one of their dman could be available? A 5/6 guy maybe? Or ....

From a strictly contract basis - this deal was a disaster for Nashville. Montreal fished them in big time. If Weber retires early - because it was one of those bullsh!t lifetime contracts meant to undermine the cap, the hit will count against Nashville not Montreal. And the Habs did not agree to pay any of Subban's bonuses. Weber is due 12 mill this year in bonuses, but his salary goes 12 this year, 6 for four years and 1 for three years.

Well last year I built a team at the last second and didn't change any player for the whole year on hhe hockeybuzz fantasy.
Finished in the middlepack of my division...

Probably marlies, I think the contract sliding due to age makes sense to play him with the marlies. Get accustomed to North American play and the leafs style for the year and graduate to leafs next year
Looking forward to seeing the leafs in the falls, I hope I can get down to the gale centre to see some of it.

Leafs play the jets. It was a goal fest last year between the teams, laine getting a hat trick in one of the games. As inprobable as it seems the jets would most likely be the best bet for it to happen.
Saying that, it would be nuts if it happened 2 years in a row. |
