True Cpt. I just expected a more well rounded game from de Haan. Isles gave up a lot to trade up and draft de Haan.

I'm just happy he seems to have turned a corner defensively. It was a bit sketchy for a while. He was a good for at least one absolutely horrible defensive zone turn over a game the season before last. Who knows maybe his offensive production will improve under Weight.

Hopefully Weight and his coaches bring out more of de Haan's offesive game. I'd like to see de Haan focus less on blocking shots and more on his passing and skating skills.

I know the joke about injuries around here, but he had several early on that had to have slowed his development. Frankly, I'm just happy he made it to the big club. In the minors it was like he was made of glass.
