A new-ish Nissan isn't a bad thing. I went to look at a Maxima when shopping for my car about ten years ago. Lasted about 15 seconds in the dealership. F'n expensive. Ended up getting a brand new Sonata and have been all-Hyundai since. Decent cars for decent prices. |

I mean it's mine. I don't care what kind of car it is. It was better than the rusting 2000 Jeep Cherokee I was driving. |

Can we all just agree, McDonagh and Skjei aren't getting traded, Draisaitl isn't getting offer sheeted and its useless to talk about.
- mdw7413
Not getting traded this season. But by the time McD next contract comes along, one of them won't be here. |

And that's a problem. Because you could have few good years left of Mcdonagh to mentor Day while Skjei is in his prime. SAD! |

For one who did not want Shatty signed here initially at all due do "his poor defense", & then later, (although rightfully so like many), due to the 7 years extended term, you would want another critical player we need, (though lower NHL ranked overall than a Shatty), signed for 7 years, who suffered a serious leg injury last season as well?
The contact involved in the world's fastest team sport makes any player prone to suffering more easily again that same type, or another similar injury in relation. Should Zib experience this, &/or acquire alone some ongoing related condition later on as a result, would the Rangers have the same "luck" as they did with Klein last week, in being rescued? That's why you cannot offer him a 7 year deal in the likely $4.5M to $5.5M range that the arbitrator would award.
Due to that injury, I would offer him up to $5.5M, but at a shorter deal than even 5 years, taking the chance it may cost them more in the long run. But at least then, they would be much more assured that Zib's health and game would have not at all been hampered by his 2016 serious leg injury. The possible effects that could linger from that injury is also the reason I feel why the 2 parties have not yet been able to agree on a new contract. |

I want absolutely nothing to do with Duchene. - nyrangers9479
I agree, and feel that is the reason why GM's will never overpay for what Sakic is overvaluing Duchene's trade value to be. Why would a rebuilding team in the first place want to part with young stars in him or Barrie as well? It's either due to suspicions behind the game scenery, with some sort of hockey related issue that the coaching staff does not like, be it with them or involving team mates. Hopefully, it's not related to non hockey issues at all. |

Check the video evidence Pete that was just released in the past hour. No need to talk about it, although I saw that others still had again done so here prior to this, since I was last post on this site yesterday.
Also, my prior post was far from "a million words". At least my "brick wall" will hold up, just like in my career on ice goaltending, as opposed to .....'.! |

This makes a lot of sense to me, Saver. You was a goalie
All skaters knows for a fact that 90%+ of all goalies are nut cases... |
