Have the Sedins killing more penalties and spread the PP to the younger players. Offence is the key. If the Sedins want to contribute they have to become PP2 and 3rd liners. Its sad but it needs to happen

I agree with what you are saying about the competition though, Gaunce if he makes the team will not be given offensive opportunities over the names you mentioned. That said Gaunce broke out for Green offensively when he was shifted back to C in UTica when they were devastated with injuries. I think he gets a chance to play with some actual NHL talent rather than Chaput/Skille/Megna and we get a better idea of if he can contribute offensively.

It will be interesting to see how Green's relationship with guys like Gaunce, Baertschi, Beiga, Pedan, Subban will influence their opportunities.

They did explain the why for their choices in the article just like any competent poster would. Most had DD off and JV in so that's getting younger.

I don't think you want slow skaters on the PK. But the PP we shall see what combos are made under Brown. They are smart great set up people if not finishers.
