The Diff in ice time is not huge.

Ice time isn't what I'm concerned about. I want Matthews to have the best linemates possible and right now he has an offensive black hole on his left side.

And I don't think ice time is going to be so even among the top 3 lines next season anyway.

It's been a wet summer so far so it's pick clean and place ( tee to green)...I don't even consider it real golf

This team is one year removed from being the worse team in the league and we already have cap issues...ya I know we have 10 million in Long term that will come off at the beginning of the season.

LA Kings are a cap team and missed the playoffs and are headed towards a rebuild
Philly is a cap team and missed the playoffs


Moral of the story - not so bad to be a cap team - as long as you are a decent team.

I played Black Bear Ridge in the Molsons tournament and it's impossible for me to get to the greens in regulation on 4's and 5's. And that is from the whites.

But JVR isn't gone. As of today he's still on the roster. Sure, he could still be traded, but if there was a deal out there for a top 4 defenseman it probably would have gone down by now.

That's a beauty course, that 11th hole (690 yards) with water on both sides of the fairway along the entire hole is unbelievable. Longest hole in ontario. I've played that course twice and never saw another golfer on the course once.

That's the best part....we play Tremblant ( Le Geant / Les Diables / Le Bete once per year and it's like we own the place.....

He's definitely up there. They had probably the most balanced scoring in the league last season and replacing Hyman with Marleau doesn't change that.

Also, history shows that having your three best shooters on one line isn't necessarily a bad idea at all. Anyone remember how terrifying Heatley-Spezza-Alfredsson was for a few years? That line took them to a Stanley Cup final and they didn't have the secondary scoring depth that the Leafs have.
