Good deal for EDM, guy is basically a 1st line by himself for the next 8+ years. Play him with 3rd liners and all 3 will still put up 1st line numbers.

Pretty much every team signs multiple players knowing that they're career AHL'ers, otherwise your AHL team will be garbage and your prospects will be playing with guys who can't even score in the AHL.
