Yep. It was the best Canada Day long weekend I think I have had in as long as I can remember. Lots of good friends at the lake and all our kids having fun playing together. $800 in fireworks. An amazing creative engagement during the singing of the anthem after fireworks.(Nobody had a clue) It was great.

Hell no. Dorsett, assuming he is healthy, will help this team. A gritty vet that plays the game hard is needed on every team

Come TDL certain vets that accumulate value could be moved. The balanced environment to develop prospects will help them take over those vet roles when traded for picks.

Not yet. It has been a while for me as well.

I went out in the pontoon with my 6 year old. So it was mostly teaching him to cast. It was pretty windy to so we were getting blown up the west end and it took everything I had to row us back east. Battery died for the motor.

So you're thinking they will have JV play >10 minutes per night on the NHL 4th line, while Derek Dorsett plays 17+ minutes in a top 6 scoring role in the AHL?

As much as i like to do lineups it amounts to nada without playmakers at C or on the wing. The PP will continue to suffer lacking the same & no threat of shots from the point. Its a few years til EP & maybe luck out on Dahlin before it changes.

Speed & skill mean nothing on there own without set-ups.
Unless shooting from everywhere & getting greasy goals all the time is fun.
Our D is not gonna provide much offense.
