It'll probably all depend on whether or not jvr is traded. Babs loves Hyman as well and I think he's happy with that line. If jvr goes he needs someone who can finish on that line if not he'll probably be with matthews.

I like the Marleau signing. Guy still has speed, brings the veteran presence, can score goals, is good in playoffs, and is defensive. High cap hit but its worth it for a 3 year span (would of preferred 2). Gives us a good push for the next 2 year span before matthews and marner get paid. I am confident we will be able to sign the big 3, we wont lose them.

Still puzzled by the hainsey signing though, i know it was a weak free agency for defenders but probably would of rolled a 1 year deal on him not 2

Why did this make me think about Gullsy?

Seems to me that Demers makes a ton of sense. Possibly not for JVR if the Panthers still need to shed salary. Keep JVR for a good run this coming season?
