Look at the Devils and Johanssen: they just took 4+ Million off of the Caps for basically nothing.

It's a 3 year deal while we have lots of cap space. It will be fine. Babcock apparently loves Marleau and they probably think he'll be a good role model for the young guys.
I'm not losing any sleep over this deal. It's not like it's for 6 years or something.
