Ray Shero offering $49 million to Shattenkirk
- KreiderBomb

LOL either that or Pitt will find a way to squeeze him and Duchene under cap.

He used to be the Rangers' personal Bob McKenzie, but he's been flat out wrong multiple times over the last year.
- rangerdanger94

Yeah starting to think him and EK might be same person.

Hopefully I got everything in the blog. If anything changes in next 90 minutes, I will update it.

Don't bother, Jan. We don't read it anyways.

beginning to wonder if Jason Demers is a more viable option to play in our top 4?
what would it take to acquire him?

edit checking the list of rumored available players on the fourth period he isn't listed.

The plan looks like it will change to a rebuild now. I don't see them paying Shatty at least $7M per year for 7 years, if it's true that another team made that offer. That's unless Shatty would play for slightly less only here as also rumored. But how much less is that now give that assumed already made offer for him out there?
If Pavelic as a backup at a minimum of double Raanta, coming off $4.75M with a 3.55 GAA and even worse, .888 SAVE% is their answer, that alone is a loss of points earned in the standings vs. Raanta. Stepan and his FULL $6.5M cap hit would not be gone if Raanta was not included in that trade. That was the delay with it, after rumors had various established roster players coming instead of Deangelo's whole 39 NHL games played, along with the #7 overall pick, which also signifies closer to a "rebuild" as opposed to a "rebuild on the fly", which the Rangers want all to believe they are currently under.
The only reason that the Rangers would pay Shatty his current market value are to support their "rebuild on the fly" plan to contend under Hank. They know that superior prior seasons' rosters that fell short, did not have a RH Shatty type offensive d'man for the necessary known needs. Why then would Dan Boyle, (although only as a too old "fill in"), have been brought in here in the first place? Without that right side hole on the back line and power play correctly filled in here free of creating other roster holes, there is no need to go fishing for Sharks in San Jose, or spending anything big in value elsewhere. That's the time for them to admit what their plan really is, and what it should be through next season's trade deadline for now instead, if Shatty, and a better backup goalie to play 25 minimum games are not brought in here.

Pavelic is not the answer, "21peter", for that type of goal tending ever since he suffered his serious leg or groin injury a few seasons ago, which had greatly affected his game.
Also, since you love posting this image so much from the tiny room where you reside, would I be correct that there are also cage bars on the other 3 sides, along with a ceiling floor above, any or all of which you never would want to show on here?
Or is it that you are only helping trump to build his wall, since you act like him too often?

I know you're joking, Jan... If you don't, you've got some issues for sure

We all enjoy your blogs and appreciate how fast you get a new blog up when something 'major' happens.

Just don't pretend we don't appreciate you just because we're having a joke on you from time to time...

I'm a writer myself and, for sure, I like your style

This is a great detailed blog Jan. You covered everything possible within reach for the Rangers to improve the team to "contend while rebuilding on the fly" under Hank.

You're bluffing just like the oilers are about matching any Draisaitl offer sheet.

You cannot be "a writer myself", as you just said in your reply to Jan. You did not put the words, of which I will abbreviate here by, "r. o. t. f." in quotation marks. An apostrophe is not a quotation mark.
Other than that, relax! I have also been upset with what has taken place this off season thus far, except for their two 1st Round selections. The Pro roster is the weakest it as been for years as of now. That's why I have often here used those words of Gorton spoken at the draft, as to the Rangers current plan being a "rebuild on the march". However, as to his plan, it appears right now that Gorton should leave off those last three words of HIS four.
Is that 25% better for you now?
