Yeah he did. He likes it because of the 4 years. In his and mrn's defense they didn't want to sign him because they figured it would be a much longer term.

Priorities 1 (Smith first) and 2 (Shatty) done. Pavelic as backup needs a huge tutoring by Allaire, after his leg or groin injury a few seasons ago could have had in part affected his recent game level, despite being a #1 goalie predominantly, dating back to his days of the Jets being in Atlanta.
Now the need is to acquire 1 or 2 centers, & possibly some grit at forward, including giving Andersson at center, the best chance to make the opening night roster..

Wonder whether the Rangers are at least inquiring about Duchene.
