VAN thinks both Gaunce and Granlund may be out for start of season due to injuries/surgeries. Hmm.

Just saw this, isn't he a lefty as well?

I'm wondering if they want to send Hutton to Utica this year? MDZ/Wiercoch/Hutton/Juolevi/Edler: that's a lot of competition for 3 spots, I wonder who plays the right side

After weeks and weeks of speculation as to what the Canucks should do with Miller.

Should we resign him for 1 year should we resign him for 2 years, blah blah blah.

Now that he's not coming back Our crease has been turned over again to a new younger number 1.

Very relieved this is the road we and Miller chose.

Also I like the moves made today. Its going to make this team mildly more watchable especially on the PP with SG and MDZ.

Not long term contracts gives the young guys more time to develop and gives the canucks trade assets over the next couple years at the trade deadline to ass picks.

I'm thinking that's why they are signing Burmistrov/Gagner, those 2 might end up on the IR

3 years ago in the AHL, he put up more goals and same amount of points in half the games than Virtanen - he's a 6.5' defender

me too, I like the small deals, potential flips or cheap offence. can't really be sour about any of these contracts.

I REALLY like the Nilsson deal, I don't know why but I can see him being better than Markstrom.

Benning had a good day so far.

Decent aged players, dollars and terms. Takes pressure off the young guys. Great Job really.

Nilsson did the same thing in edmonton he did in long island...looked great for a bit, then not at all.
- Isles_since_6

Every time an Islnder becomes an ex Islander you pay a visit tohis new team ( even if its his 5th new team) to talk sh!t about him.
