I can live with Pomminville at $5.6 for only two seasons. With a team like this, term is far more important than salary. And right now, nobody other than Eichel or Ristolainen should be locked up for more than four years.

I think Pommer replaces Gionta. With 2 years left I'm good with it since I believe that was the same amount of term as Ennis with a bit higher of a cap hit. I'd look at Moulson if we're worried about cap.

Agree this is a positive move and i'm the first to say I never was a Pommer fan but this team is different now and with Eichel and Okposo our RW looks solid. I know Eichel is a C.

Now if we sign Vanek we'll really be getting the gang back together lol

If McCabe got traded Botteril really would be shaking things up. Personally I like McCabe's game, and I think taking him out would hurt the defense that we're trying to make better. Plus, McCabe played for Housley at the WJC and I would think PH would have some say as to who he wants on his team.

Why do people want Sam back at Center.... he hasn't played well there at all.

At least at RW he has been a 20 goal scorer and gets more minutes. I don't want him getting 3rd line minutes with guys like Larsson/Zemgus on his wings.
