What's everyone's order of UFA for tomorrow, top 3.

1. Grigorenko
2. Bonino (depending on term)
3. Hartnell (short 1-2 year deal)

- nyrangers9479

I'd skip Griggs and Hartnell, but by all means knock yourselves out.

I hear NJ, Boston, NYR, Buff, TB and maybe Toronto
- airjan23

I am hearing every team in the league would like him on their team.... haha

I doubt TOR is big on him though. My bet would be BUF if not the rangers.

Some idiot is going to pay Bonino to be a 2C when it reality he is much better utilized as a paperweight. The next Brian Bickell (and no, this is not intended to be insensitive about his unfortunate health situation).

Truthfully, I'd take a cheap flyer on Grigorenko. Two year, two-way deal. He's only played on absolute, complete-and-total dog shit teams. I'd give him a chance to earn a spot. Worst case he's good depth for the AHL team.

No to the above.

1. - Thorton(1 year deal)
2. - Shatty - $6.5M or under
3 - backup Goalie - I think Nilson or a similar player would be good. I would prefer a younger guy just in case he progresses well, higher trade value.

I could see why ppl might not want Hartnell, I think on the 3rd or 4th line he could be a nice pickup and bring a physical presence were lacking in our bottom 6. I think Grigorenko could be a nice pickup, hope he can figure it out and be our 3rd line center, if not play him on the 4th line.

I heard Bonino will develop an allergy to his equipment around year 5 of his deal anyway.

Chytil on a breakaway. He shoots, he scores! Amazing performance this rookie camp. 4-2.

Better than Matthews. He was selling himself short.

no room for wingers - we already have 8 starters on the wing:
Buch - Zib - Krieds
Miller - Hayes - Grabs
Nash- UFA - Zucc
Fast - Boo/Anderson/UFA - Vesey

No need for a winger.

Bonino has surely played his best hockey and is gunna get paid for the cups he won in pitt. I would pass as well for the money/term hes gunna get

I just think Hartnell will get too much money because of his name.

I would only want Hartnell on a 1-2 year deal. Anything more no thanks.

His best statistical season was with Anaheim, actually. Also, and I know you're not advocating it -- just commenting here, paying individual players for team accomplishments is moronic.

I don't think Boo is the answer, was very unimpressed with him last year. Grabner will be on the 4th line IMO and Fast will be out a month+. Injuries will happen, last year within the first month Zib Kreider and Buch all got hurt within the first month or so. Buch with his back, Zib long term with the broken leg. Also, Anderson is no lock to make the team.

Gropp, Tambellini, etc are all available to step up from AHL if injuries occur. Grabs played on 3rd line for 99.9% of the season last year. i see no change there.

And Boo is 23 turning 24, this is his year to get a legit shot.

Rumor that the Pens have a deal in the works to acquire a #3 center. Nobody mentioned him in connection with this rumor, but it smacks of Oscar Lindberg. I would hate that if it happened.

18 points in 40 AHL games. I think he makes the team. he looked real good in the Traverse city tourney last year. him and Vesey dominated that tournament.
