i understand you're not used to seeing elite players on Toronto after years of Finger, Lebda, Komisarek, Jason Blake, Matt Stajan etc., but why would you not want to see Joe Thornton for 1-2 years on the LEafs??

Who's basically a wash with Bozak, but we need him. 
Do need a 4C though; Gauthier is probably going to need another year in the AHL or at least most of it to rehab. There's really not a lot of depth in the organization at center right now.
Boyle would be great again, but he's not coming back I'm guessing; they're not even talking to him, so I'm guessing that he said he wasn't sticking around long ago. |
