Don't forget also if you OS Draisitl you take the Oilers out of the free agent game for years. We have lost out on Schultz Caguila Lucic Benning and maybe more because the player preferred to have a chance to play with top prospects. If Oilers match they are locked in and have to sign scrubs for years.

I'm not disputing what LD offers, kids a stud....true #1C. I just not sure he would make us better by 10 or so spots in the draft. Maybe in a few yrs when we have more pieces to compliment a player like that just not right now. From what I've heard the next 3 drafts are suppose to be good, better then this yr. I would hate to see Edmonton get top 5 picks in 2 of those drafts cause of us.
