Both cases neither of them have any sort of source with the avs to back up that talk. If Avs beat writers don't have those sources and runnnjnh with those stories, those guys have no clue

Well for starters guys played 39 career NHL and scored 5G of which 2 were on PP and he's a work in progress in his own end. I would like to see him play a little more before we say he's second coming of Leetch. And if you plan on playing him with Staal you might as well pull Hank when they are on ice so you don't ruin his GAA and save %

Yeah you could also pair him with one of the other LDs but I don't see that as a great pairing either. Staal just needs to be moved, I think that's what we all can agree on. If you sign Shattenkirk for 6+ years you're (frank)ed down the road.
