I agree with you. You need a balanced team. I do think alot of the fringe Sabres players (Bailey,Baptiste,Fauching) will probably start in Roch. I think he wants to build a good AHL team. Looks like Ullmark will start there with Johnson coming back.

Kane - Jack - Sam
? - ROR - Okposo
Zemgus - Larsson - Ennis
DLo - ?? - Foligno
Moulson

That is how I view our depth chart right now. Whether those are filled in by UFAs or moving people around I don't know but I would imagine that there is chance that Ennis/Foligno/Moulson/Larsson/Zemgus could be gone by season's beginning. I would also imagine some youth would need to be added in there and IMO... Fasching and Bailey are the most likely 2.

We are also forgetting about CJ Smith who we signed out of college at LW.

Mike Bogosian isn't in our top 4.

Antipin is.

I think there could be some surprise players/Call ups in Rochester this year. Sean Malone could be one of them. i also forget that CJ Smith will be down there too along with Florentino. Florentino is a guy that I always thought would have a shot but he was signed to Rochester only so im not sure if he could be called up/Signed during the season?

He's right a ton! Everyone kills the guy, but of all insiders in here, he is the only one who absolutely nails it with some of his info.
- Cup Crazy '07

Let's not get ahead of ourselves. The last time he "nailed it" was the Kane trade.

Vince man I like you but Fasching is the 4th winger at best on the depth chart at call ups and making the team. Bailey, Baptiste, Nylander then Fasching in that order my man.

Fasching had a terrible injury filled year and was passed on the depth chart.

I'm good just trying to talk a point here.

I really refuse to believe that either of these guys really made strides past the others in the organization... in case you were wondering.. the order goes Fasching, Baptiste, Bailey, Nylander there.

Valid... but I just would rather have Moulson not in the lineup than put him on a 4th line making 5M.

Baptiste and Bailey have shown they can produce at the AHL level better than Fasching. If we are talking Fasching vs Nylander you can't argue between the two on who is 3rd and 4th on the list
