i mean just looking at the washington comparable he was on the ice for 2 more goals against than john carlson.

i wouldnt give him tough d matchups or pk time but considering how much offence he generates i think its passable.

Their zone starts/deployment were identical this year, at least according to this site. I still think he's the better player as well i just question the 9 mil bit.

And I'm guessing Carlson had MUCH more def zone starts than Shatty

I'd love to compare his seasons with Bouwmeester, Alex P, etc
I'm sure he'll come out much worse

Enough with our Buffalo defeatedness attitude. Shatt would be a great signing, we're challenging for the playoffs with or without him and we will be adding 2-3 new, better defensemen this year. Jbotts won't play the game of being used to drive up a players price, btw, Do I think Shatt signs with us? No, but stranger things have happened.

LA has been pretty good at developing goalies over the last 8 years or so
