Not sure what Colorado wants, there is no doubt that Sakic is firmly on the hot seat, but there is no quick fix for the Avalanche. They are pure sh!t. They want young players that have upside and don't cost $6 million a year. Duchene while a decent talent scored 41 points last year and was a -34. Not exactly earning his pay. While an extremely offensively challenged team like the Habs would have a boner for such a player, there is no urgency for a team like the Leafs who can easily field three scoring lines, all better than the Habs top line, to move on Duchene.
