Id argue the city is much improved.

All the morons with no education who thought sleeping 4 of an 8 hr shift at a steel plant thinking they were worth anything to society are replaced with working professionals from the GTA.

Downtown other than north of barton and east of sherman is actually on the come up.

The only major city worst than edmonton in canada is winnipeg.
