Also projecting them anywhere is a stretch when you have no idea what ideas Green might have for lineups. Coaching an AHL team where youre told who you get is one thing, its another to have to construct the organizations entire depth chart

With the background as a high profile Jr & a smart NHLer i think TG will max out our potential. Kids like Goldy & BB will benefit from him. The D will be a tighter group under Baumgartner. Truly excited to see how it all plays out.

Although its awesome stockpiling prospects its also a very strange time.
Never going thru this is unchartered territory.



Plethora of talent & assets on the wing with only enough spots to go around.
Spacing of ages is looking good for continual competition & asset management.
D depth on prospects slowly improving but missing that cherished stud.
C is very encouraging but a few years away from seeing the fruit.
Pettersson Gaudette Lind r all nice prospects.
Demko & Dipietro look good for our future.

JV being rebuilt is fine by me.
Tryamkin on hiatus is ok.
EG on a mission to prove to everyone he is what we payed for.
OJ prolly a Tanev type D with much better upside.




In 1-2yrs we will be well positioned after adding more top end talent to make impact trades & sign legit UFA's in the latter part of the rebuild.

Potential musings yes

Taken with a grain of salt but adding that prospects r trending up well....

Its amazing after this one draft has beefed up our prospects.
Utica will be fun times for years to come.
JB once given the latitude to remake us is doing a good job of it.
Adding that TG has a great opportunity to make it gel is exciting to a degree.

With next year us expecting high end 1st & top picks every following round will further exacerbate our riches & meaningful competition. No longer is a fight for NHL jobs but it will also make Utica a proving ground vs just development.

UFA signings r hopefully a sign of the past & build from within with cost control is. Gone will be the middle class contract.
