Mystery d-man I was referring to was Christian Folin.
Sounds like the Hawks want to see what his health status is, and if good to go, they are interested. This could happen. - John Jaeckel
MIN did not qualify him, so he is now UFA. Interesting. |

Fact remains Stanley made this mess with his contracts.
And then he doubled the mess with No Trade Clause for most of these deals.
Hopefully someone (Vegas) will take Kruger.
NOBODY is going to touch Seabrook contract unless 88 is in the deal.
Stanley has this year to correct his mess or hopefully be FIRED! |

"But another source said the Hawks soured on Rasmussen in March, when he turned down a contract extension offered by the team, hoping for a bigger bump in pay. Rasmussen was promptly benched for seven of eight games — after playing in 45 of 47 leading up to that point — and the Hawks eventually decided to part ways. A league source said the Hawks didn’t tender Tomas Jurco his qualifying offer until the last minute on Monday (defenseman Erik Gustafsson, for contrast, received his more than a week ago), so it’s possible the Hawks were deciding between the two bottom-six forwards." |

Out: Hjalmarsson,TVR. Kruger and Anisinov.
(?): Campbell, Alzner (or someone else not named Rozival or Oduya)
In: Murphy, Dauphin
Panarin exchanged for Saad.
Forsling, Raata, Gustafsson, Pokka - who is playing well at Rockford?
The my represent extra dmen.
Snuggerud, Raddysh, three more Swedes also at Rockford.
Maybe Rockford has a lot of developing talent on defence.
Quenneville has a migraine headache, though, but will it go away?
Campbell how cheap? Alzner salary comparable to Anisinov. |

More like league minimum, sounds like Pokka agreed Rasmussen didn't. |

So you liked the 4-0 sweep by Nashville.
Must be related to Stanley? |

Nope, but I sure liked the 3 cups in 6 years even after a huge cap dump or 2. |

To be fair, Pokka was hurt right before last year. We all say he was slow and dead, but it was a leg injury. I optimistically hope he can come to camp and compete... but I'm not expecting anything. |

I expect someone to overpay for Alzner, and the Hawks can't even if they wanted to. - ArlingtonRob
Alzner wants dollars and term. And really wants to go to MON, where he can pair with his B.C. buddy Weber. If he doesn't end up in Montreal, it'll be a massive overpay somewhere else. |

Why?
David Rundblad, part deux.
Oh yeah, remember all the "gettin' a top pick back from NYI" talk?
Scotty: Hey Stan . . .
Stan: Yes Dad, what?
Scotty: Stan, you forgot to take out the trash.
Stan: Sorry Dad, you know Ville is the only thing left I have from that big trade I made.
Scotty: Stan, haven't you learned by now to cut your losses?
- phone rings in the background -
Stan: Dad, David Rundblad is on the line, can I connect you on a 3 way call?

But it's like the anti-David Rundblad, as Pokka is almost the opposite player as Rundblad was. |

Even if Alzner aboard the team may not win its opening round. Toews and Crawford need to be superstars in playoffs.
Where that leaves Queeneville and Bowman?
Wait until that time comes. I cannot fathom farther significant roster changes. But could Bowman have a rabbit up his sleeve - doubtful but possible.
DeBrincat, Sikura, Fortin is a reach but who knows whether they pop up next spring.
Bloom from a fresh petal may be brief for this team next spring. |

This gets old, please be better informed.
1 Cup, yes
2 Cups part of the equation
3 - smaller part
And while your doing your research name a team who's composition in the salary cap era was 100% of his doing. I will give you a hint - only 1 GM comes close - Ken Holland, and even he had players from the previous GM. |

I think both Tootoo and Roz get sent down to Rockford and knew that at the time and that they were getting some free money since both would be out of the league if they did not get that. Maybe they guard against injury, But this was all about being expansion draft compliant so the hawks had more leverage vs Vegas. They could have traded TVR to a team that had to expose a better player and then They would have had to pick kruger with the extra 2 mil or POKKA I suppose. |
