I have no idea what any of that means lol - Scoob
He created a video game character for a baseball game.
In baseball, a relief pitcher can get what is known as a "save" which can be abbreviated "SV."
His created character gets more than 45 saves per season. |

No one gets 19, we're retiring it for Hartnell because he was a fan favorite. |

I have an MLB Road to the Show player named Tainter Jainter, #69. He gets 45+ SVs every year.
Coach: "Nice work out there tonight, Tainter."
The announcers call him Professor Big Dog. Every time my brother or I save a game we say CLASS DISMISSED - Giroux_Is_God

That is fantastic
Angels have a relief pitcher named Brooks Pounders. He has one of the cooler names in baseball right now |

Is the expectation they carry 3 goalies on the roster throughout the Season? Is it a battle royal in training camp with the loser sent to Allentown? Or does Hexy ultimately feel Stollie just isn't ready and will start in Allentown knowing the injury history of Neuvy? |

Derek Ryan is obviously older than Weal, but has similar experience in the NHL. Signed 1 year / 1.425 million |

not sure why 3 goalies would be carried
I bet Stolarz starts in the AHL |

2years, 3 million should get it done. If not, let him walk.

Coming off a serious injury, I think it's almost a given that Stolarz starts the season in LHV. |

Still thinking it will be one of these:
Anders Nilsson
Petr Mrazek
Calvin Pickard |

I would think so also. It just goes against Hexy stating Stollie is ready. Now certainly GMs and public statements should be taken with a grain of salt. It just seems like Stollie hasn't shown enough to warrant a back up role in the NHL. I get protecting the asset in expansion, but in this scenario there is a decent chance he ll be in Allentown all year. |

I'd rather have any of those 3 over Niemi.

I think hes shown enough to warrant a backup role. The problem just comes when Neuvirth gets injured. |

With Recchi heading into the HHOF and Schenn being traded, it sparks the memories for me. Losing a lot of players sucks, most noticeably Eric Lindros. I don't think there has ever been a more devastating summer from a sentimental standpoint for me than when we bought out John LeClair and Tony Amonte. We traded Jeremy Roenick and let Mark Recchi walk. |

Yep me too. With a slight edge to Pickard so I can say "Engage" and "Make It So" during games.
(Yes, I realize they aren't pronounced the same but a girl gets her giggles where she can.) |

I think that's right on the money for Weal. Even being an over payment. I'd guess he has offers for 2 million x 2 or 3. |
