For those of you on twitter, check out jaromir jagr's account. Some good stuff there.

I was thinking the Wild would do better trading one of their D. The return doesn't move the needle for them imho.

If the Blues had more cap room and Parayko signed, would Cammalleri be a target?

Orlov 6 year 5.1 million signing is another comparable. Orlov is almost 2 years older and is giving up more UFA years than Parayko would be.

I wouldn't mind Cammalleri

I think the blues are pretty set minus a depth move

Really don't want them to get a Doan or Iginla type but that's what they will get

What happened to the Berglund thread?

Thornton to Nashville? i was kind of interested to see if the blues were looking at him. Great playmaker still. Wouldn't be as cheap as we need though. Heck Perron is gone so .....

Need Parayko for long term. He is 24-25? not sure of his bday. do you go shorter for 5-6 to save money now, or do you go longer and spend more? either way, if he is going to resign after the contract he should be getting paid well(if he continues to develop and get better and better)

Not a bad deal for MPS 800k for a guaranteed NHL spot. It's a prove it contract. Have absolutely no problem with that. Glad to have him back(hopefully i will be saying the same at the end of next season)

Dammit Army resgn Agostino already. Don't let him slip away.

I wouldn't really mind Doan or Iggy in for Reaves, in a healthy lineup.

I find him interesting, if you feel you need another veteran scoring type. Along with the Sharps/Versteegs/Jagrs/Williams/Hartnell types who may still be free...with all the Blues players who normally play 60 or so games due to injury, he could fit right in.

Devante Smith-Pelly also intrigued me as a 4th liner/depth player to assume a portion of Reaves' role...

Have you seen much of Smith-Pelly the last couple of years? He seemed like his game regressed a lot but maybe it was my very small sample size of viewing.

Seen? No. His measurables just indicate some value yet to be tapped. On the physical side and some frame. More skilled offensively than a Reaves, though less of a forechecker, supposed to be a good skater. Nice playoff performance a few years back, seems to have gotten lost in the shuffle of 3 teams the last 3 seasons. Played for a dumpster tire fire of a team last season that didn't help anyone. Just about to enter his prime physically. A lot of things there say value to me, but maybe the Blues don't have that room to offer. And VGK didn't scoop him up (thus far) either, and they should be taking anyone they think could add value.

Thorburn sort of makes me yawn, especially at 2 years, but has outscored RR over his career. I don't mind the signing save the 2nd year, but Beau Bennett is intriguing. I'm surprised he didn't wind up in Buffalo with Botterill given his history with the Pens and Scranton-WB.
