Is Chytil even allowed to play in the NHL? Not that I think he has any shot to, just curious. |

Yes, anyone can play in the NHL immediately following their draft year.
The rules are different for playing in the AHL, and he'd still be eligible for that too. Euro players can leave their leagues (assuming their contracts are up and/or there is a transfer agreement in place with said-league) and come play in the AHL immediately. CHL players have to wait until they're 20 to leave their junior team.
And right on cue, Chytil selected by the North Bay Battalion of the OHL in the CHL Import Draft

the question should be will Chytil dominate at the NHL level next year or be just decent |

I don't think so, they drafted Grachev that time and then he went to OHL, but he was allowed to leave after one year
that worked out just dandy |

I have to be honest - I liked Chytil more than i like the Swedish kid. Bigger frame, good skater, it looks like he just needs to put on weight.

we have only won 1 cup in 77 years so I don't why we are sucking each other's Richards over either of these guys |

Predatory offer sheet at 9.8 million forces Oilers to pay 23 million for 2 players, or lose Draisaitl. |

Both are good prospects, both were also a little bit of a reach where they were selected. I think Andersson at 7 was a bigger reach than Chytil at 21, but both figure to be good players. Andersson was my second choice at 15 (before the Isles traded the pick) and I'm willing to bet that, ultimately, you guys will be really happy with him...but he never figures to be a star player. He was a safe pick that can do it all well but is great at nothing. |
