Im so happy for Tanners Yotes, but watch out for Tanners Knights and Tanners Leafs as making some noise this offseason

This wasn't a weak draft... I think it's just as good as the 2014 one, just no high powered prospects like Laine, Matthews, and McDavid...

I guess every "expert" was wrong then when they all stated something along the lines of '... a weak draft class this year'

For a Cup winning team, I'll agree with that. For a team with no other centres with NHL experience? He's a #1.

When you don't have any high-powered prospects, then, by definition you have a weak draft class. Especially when, according to the "experts", there is a drop off in talent after the first 3 or 4. Time will tell though how "weak" this draft actually was.
