He doesn't play on the same side.....
Drouin is a C/LW
Galchenyuk is a C/LW
Pacioretty is a LW
Lehkonen is a LW
Even (frank)ing Paul Byron is a LW.
Right now, if Radulov leaves, we have Gallagher on the right side annnnnnd............. no one. - Scabeh
Was told Drouin could play both sides. Byron has played as a RW already. Shaw can play on the right side as well. |

You missed the part where Drouin could play as a RW. Byron scrored 22 goals for cheap as a RW as well. |

Byron scored most of his goals playing as a LW as far as I remember. When/ with who was he playing when he played on the right side?
And just because Drouin "was used at RW at some point last season" doesn't make it the preferable position to put your potential best player in. |

I couldn't care less if they play L or R, and I'm sure they don't either.
Many play offwing and achieve great success doing do.
The question is who will play center? |

Pretty sure it was Byron playing on the right side to replace Gallagher last season when he was hurt or played like poop. So it would have been Lehkonen/Plekanec/Byron.
It may not be the best to use Drouin as a RW or even as a C, but it might happen. I would like Radulov back on the team, but pulling an Oshie will hurt the team going forward. |

Right now, it's Danault/Plek (oh he is here next season) and Shaw maybe as the third center? That is very poor. With everydoby being a winger on this team, pretty sure they will try Drouin as a center or/and put Galchenyuk back there, if they do not trade him.
So, Drouin
Danault,
Plek
Mitchell/McCaron.
Of course, they could make a trade or sign Jumbo Joe. |

Radu is still a left shot playing on his off wing...Galchenyuk/Drouin could both do the same since they're more offensive minded. |

This would be ideal. I would even do 5 years. Maybe get him down to 5.75, if possible. |
