We aren't signing Johnson, especially if it took 3 mill to do it. I'm sick of the 2 veteran goaltending approach, it has not worked well for us at all so why keep trying it?

Roll with Rittich or Gillies as the backup and let them start cutting their teeth at the NHL level.

I wouldn't waste the dollars on Stone either. Kulak is arguably a better dman overall and 1 of Kylington/Rass should be ready for bottom pairing minutes. We have one of the best top 4's in the league, they'll handle all the tough minutes and we can shelter our bottom pairing until they prove they are ready for more.

I wouldn't mind Chiasson, but no way he's worth more than 2 mill. He's a 4th line winger who's not bad defensively.
