The ones that are Hockey related are fine. I want those players to succeed too and everyone should. I get that some wanted different players but we don't make lots of money to pick players that may or may not be awesome. Some of the scouts make bad decisions but it's what they do all day everyday and some of the rankings we were seeing were opinions with facts mixed in.

We could be looking at two players that could be great. One of their late round picks might be that guy too. Some incredible players come from late rounds.

They're both projected as 2C/3C guys. The Rangers 2C and 3C last year were Zibs and Hayes. I wouldn't have a problem with Andersson and Chytil turnng out like that.

he is only 17, just made the cut off to get into this draft, kid's a baby

Oh yeah thats right. Saw something that said he should be judged closer to next years draft. Wonder what will happen next year with him and where he would have ended up being in next years ranking.

Should definitely be interesting.

I really can't take the wait until Free agency begins.

But to quote him, "I model my game after Auston Matthews." So we should be more than fine.

I did like what i read about him though. seems to have some high end potential, good skater. I also like the youth as the rangers can now help him progress better - giving him access to great training personnel and guys like Drury. it can not be overstated how much the scouts and player personnel help these young kids mature and find their game.

after this weekend, seems like a lot of people think they are unnecessary

the Rangers could save themselves thousands and thousands of dollars, no need for European scouts

just spend 7.95 on a hockey draft preview, go down the line in their rankings, draft the next guy available on the list, kind of like I do in fantasy football

Justin Williams will chat with Caps management this week to see if he's still a fit. 50/50 he's back in Washington next season.

Isn't it crazy about this blog how for 4 months people couldn't wait for Stepan to be traded, the day comes where he's traded and it's taken up about 1% of the posts here. It's all about a bust we drafted and about some stud we passed on. And both of them are determined that at 18 yrs old and are skating with their big clubs for the very first time. How long do I have to have my intelligence insulted?

Edit: if they found a way to rid him, you could have replace his money with Smith and almost completely changed the look of of the blue line.

In most peoples defense its not that he is a bust its that people think he should have been picked a little later. I don't agree with that assumption, because we have no idea what went on with the GM's at the draft, or if Andersson moved up which he apparently did for 2 other teams.

I guess its good I don't follow these guys, cause I'm happy with who we pick.

He's mobility has declined so drastically it's just amazing. He was never fast, but before the concussion and eye injuries he was never cement feet.
