McCabe if ever traded would easily garner a late 1st or 2nd rounder right now. Top 4 solid guy.
Nylander, Asplund, Fasching, Bailey, Baptiste, Pu, Mittlestadt are all very good prospects in the pipeline for forwards. All could play no less than 2nd line for their careers. I don't mind Olofsson either.
Guhle, Borgen, Antipin, Nelson, Stephens could all be very solid defensive guys. I don't know if any are top pairing but 2nd pairing at least. |

I'd say that Hoffman, Turris, and Stone are top tier players in this league with Karlsson and Ryan.
NYR had 5 players with 43+ pts.
OTT had 4 players with 43+ pts.
BUF had 6 players with 43+ pts.

He was a point per game player this year. How much better could he be? Defensively, not elite, but I believe that can get better

If anyone is capping Eichel (and I'm not saying you are) at a point per game at 20 years old, you need to get your head examined. Kid is only young to get quicker, faster, stronger, more mature and we've got a few good ones coming through the pipeline that are not only going to make him better - and vice versa - but take some pressure off him.
